Varieties Of Food

The Beginnings Of Farming And Herding

Storing Animals
- They are multiply naturally .
 - Cars them then they gives you milk, which is important sources of food , gives meats .
 - In other words Animals are called " Store ' of food .
 
Finding Out about the first Farmers And Herders
- Archaeologist found farmers and herders in North - West, present day Kashmir, east and south India.
 
Towards A Settled Life
- Archologists found pit houses, which were dug into the ground, this is help to cold weather.
 - Cooked to both inside and outside the huts depending weather they are cook indoor or outdoor.

- Wheel transformed man's life.

- It was 6000 years back that man started using copper.
 - Tools of copper were better than that of stone.

The North-west Mehragarh
- the earliest known as civilization of the Indian subcontinent was in Mehragarh (now Pakistan).
 - it was here that man first tamed animals and reared them around 7000 BC.
 
The North East
- Evidence of early settlements were found in Manipur Tripura Garo Hills.
 - One important Neolithic site in Assam was Daojali Hading.Trance of a polished stone tools,ceramics and kitchen items were found here.
